The Open Door is generally open every weekday (8.00am to 4.30pm) and Saturday (8.00am to 2.00pm).

Come and try our fresh brewed coffee, cakes or light-bite menu. Breakfasts served until noon on each day.

We have a range of fair-traded goods available, a selection of exquisite jewellery and unique hand-made African gifts from PULA; plus our usual range of wholesome and delicious Traidcraft consumables!

The Open Door is a warm and welcoming place to catch up with your friends, with a 'children's corner' to keep the toddlers occupied. (It's the home of the famous 'Super Jack Special' train!!) As a centre in the community for St Michael's church, a range of counselling services are also available - see below:

Whether you are in debt or having to review your financial commitments, due to changes in your personal circumstances, this course can help you The principles contained in the three sessions have proved effective for thousands of people. The course is free, including a Delegates Workbook and access to online budgeting tools. Graham can also provide you with advice on any employment related issues that you may have.

Lifted A gentle but powerful prayer ministry offered to members of the public in The Open Door Prayer Room and run by Christian volunteers trained to pray sensitively in a loving and compassionate way with people for healing and other areas of need. We are happy to pray with you whatever your faith or background. Our ministry is free of charge. Simply request an appointment through Bob to contact one of our team. Come and receive God's blessings for you and your family!
